Our Leadership Team

Margaret has led Wellspring Care Portal since 2015, overseeing its growth from three locations to twelve. With over 25 years of healthcare administration experience, she previously served as COO of Greenfield Regional Health System and as a board member of the Illinois Hospital Association. Margaret holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Michigan and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is passionate about health equity and ensuring that every member of the community has access to understandable health information and compassionate care navigation.

Dr. Kapoor provides clinical oversight for all Wellspring Care Portal services and ensures that health education content meets evidence-based standards. Board-certified in internal medicine and preventive medicine, he completed his medical degree at Northwestern University and his MPH at Harvard. Before joining Wellspring, Dr. Kapoor spent 15 years in academic medicine and community health. He oversees the medical review process for the Health Library and champions preventive care initiatives across the organization.

Dr. Williams leads the development of all patient education programs, including the Health Library, community wellness workshops, and the appointment preparation tools. She holds a doctorate in health education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. With a career spanning two decades in public health education, Tamara has designed literacy-appropriate health materials for diverse populations and has published extensively on health literacy and patient empowerment. She ensures all Wellspring content is accessible, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based.

Carlos manages Wellspring Care Portal's financial operations, including budgeting, billing education programs, financial assistance initiatives, and grant funding. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and brings 18 years of healthcare finance experience. Carlos previously served as VP of Revenue Cycle at Greenfield Regional Health System. He is deeply committed to financial transparency and has led the development of the Insurance & Billing Education section of the portal, ensuring patients have access to clear, understandable information about healthcare costs.

Sandra oversees Wellspring's community engagement initiatives, including support groups, caregiver resources, social services referrals, and partnerships with local organizations. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago. Sandra has spent her career working at the intersection of healthcare and social services, advocating for vulnerable populations including low-income families, immigrants, elderly adults, and individuals experiencing homelessness. She coordinates the Language Access Program and ensures services are available in 15 languages.

James leads the technology team responsible for the Wellspring Care Portal platform, digital tools, telehealth infrastructure, and data security. He holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology. James previously led digital transformation initiatives at two major health systems. He is passionate about building technology that is accessible, intuitive, and secure, and ensuring that digital health tools serve patients of all technology comfort levels.
